Lovin' the Leaves
- Include colorful pressed leaves on your pages. If you're concerned about archival safety, spray leaves with a neutralizer before attaching to the page; or mat photos and mount leaves to ensure they do not touch; or use copies of photos (not the originals) on your page.
- Use metal accents to embellish letters or to serve as punctuation. (See “ Alaska ” page.)
Nature
- Combine cutout letters with computer printing for unique titles and journaling. We trimmed our green stripe paper to fit in our printer and tested the layout first on a piece of scrap paper.
- Alternate metal accents with colorful stickers for a unique border between photos.
Alaska
- String jute through metal eyelets to form a rustic, nature-inspired photo border.
- Create a subtle yet stand-out title by shadowing letters with coordinating paper and adhere with foam mounting tape
