Layering and Finishing

Layer runner top and backing right sides together on batting, wrong side of backing on batting. Using a 1/4”-wide seam, sew around all sides, leaving a 4” opening on one side for turning. Trim batting close to stitching and backing even with runner edges. Clip corners, turn, and press. Hand-stitch opening closed. Quilt as desired.
