Supply List

Making the Flowerpot Place Markers

  1. Apply Gesso to each flowerpot with paintbrush and allow to dry thoroughly. Gesso prepares the terracotta surface for painting.
  2. Coat each flowerpot with a pastel-colored acrylic craft paint and allow to dry. Two or more coats of paint may be required for good coverage. Allow paint to dry thoroughly between each coat.
  3. Decorate each flowerpot with scraps of ribbon, yarn, and rickrack as desired. Glue on beads and buttons. Allow glue to dry thoroughly.
  4. Apply scrapbook letters to spell a guest's name on each flowerpot.
  5. Stuff bottom of each flowerpot with tissue paper. Place a small amount of Easter grass on top and nestle an egg in the grass.
  6. Place on table and enjoy!
