Hand-Crafted Décor for Baby’s Room
Say “Nighty Night” to baby in a warm and snuggly room that’s both restful and playful and filled with your hand-made creations.
A crib quilt sets the scene for room décor and our Bedtime Bears fabric is the perfect choice. Available in pink/purple or blue/green this fabric provides lots of options for cuddly quilts. The quick and colorful quilt shown in pink and purple would be equally as charming in blue and green. Matching cozy flannel is used as the backing providing even more snuggly warmth. This group even has matching fleece so line the car seat or make a quick stroller blanket from the soft and cuddly fleece.
Stars and moons are sweet motifs used in the fabric and a great element to repeat in other décor. Our sweet stuffed stars are perfect to hang in a window or hang from the ceiling over the crib. This cute decoration is sure to catch baby’s eye!
Repeat the stars and moons on a lamp by sewing small painted wooden stars to the bottom of a lampshade. Use fusible web to adhere small moons and stars to the fabric shade and glue on decorative piping for a finished look.
Wall art is important in baby’s room and what better art than baby’s own initial? Scrapbook paper, rub-on borders and star stickers create this charming wall art.
Wonderful artwork is found on greeting cards, so select a few of your favorite shower or new baby cards and frame them to add a special touch to the nursery. Paint frames in nursery colors and accent each one with simple stenciled designs inspired by the cards.
A painted shelf filled with favorite new and vintage teddy bears is the perfect way to accent a Bedtime Bears nursery!
